Extremely Late Bulb Planting

Today I planted 10 tulip and 10 daffodil bulbs that I bought from  Baker Creek seeds. I had a family crisis when they arrived and totally forgot about them until recently. It was warm today so I put them in the ground. It's so late that they might not have a chance but I figured they'd have even less of a chance if I waited until next fall. Hopefully they'll grow and squirrels won't find the tulips I planted the daffodils around the tulips so hopefully their scent will repel the rodents.
