My First Plants With A Purpose Order

| Plants with a Purpose Clary Sage Bloom |
I just placed my first Plants with a Purpose order via Amazon.com. I was just looking for comfrey and mullein seeds but also ended up adding clary sage, some interesting spinach, and purslane seeds.
You may wonder why I purchased a weed seed (purslane). It's also considered an edible plant. We used to have purslane growing in the cracks of a sidewalk and here and there throughout the flower garden. Once I learned it was edible, I wanted to taste it but someone else eradicated it all (it does behave like a weed) and it hasn't come back.
I plan to plant this order's seeds in what I consider the organic section of my side garden where my husband has promised to never use pesticides and he kindly added organic compost to the area when we first started it (prior to that it was grass). It seems to have the most worms, though it also has had the most weeds. My thinking is if I can get purslane to take over the edges, that might keep some of the other weeds at bay in that area and I can see if I like the taste of it. If I do, I can harvest between where I want the purslane to stop growing and the other plants to keep it from taking over (for example, if it was getting too close to a bean plant, I would harvest that section, or if it was wildly taking over, I could move it where I need ground cover somewhere else... I'm going to play it by ear. If it can compete with the Bermuda grass and other weeds, I think I'm going to love purslane).
I'm looking forward to receiving this order and growing all of these plants. Except for the purslane, I haven't grown any of them before. I think my mother grew them all though. My mom's with Jesus in heaven now but she loved her herbs (and even had an herb shop and taught classes on herbs) and growing herbs reminds me of her.
This
order didn't paste as cleanly as the previous ones. I've been fiddling
with it for a while but
I'm tired and need to get off the computer and ready for bed. My
apologies for the mess.
